What helps you feel timeless? When can you feel into the sensation that there’s no urgency and no rush? What does it feel like when time doesn’t drag on into boredom or pass at a snail’s pace? What is that sweet spot of timelessness that gives way to the lighter buoyancy of being? Can you imagine what it might feel like? What if there’s no rush? What if there’s no deadline? How might it feel to move from one place to the next in your day? How might it feel to be at one place then another?

Presence is a word thrown around a lot these days and I find it’s not always the easiest to grasp in practice. After all, showing up isn’t the same as being present. How about playing around with timelessness? Perhaps the experience of neither being pulled by urgency nor pushed by waiting can help to demystify the idea of presence. Without the resistance nor grasping that time places upon us, we may experience the buoyancy of there is enough time.
Unburden yourself where you can around time. There may be more opportunity for this than you currently allow in your life. Can you envision where that might be? You may even be reading this while time urges you forward to what’s next or stagnates alongside you while all you want is for it to pass. Breathe in then breathe out. What if there was enough time for it all?
